M/Y GLOBAL’s Main Deck is the center of activity, featuring a swim platform, large aft deck, and hangar with an interior featuring a galley, crew mess, game room, theater / library, sauna and a gym.

The hangar is not just a place to keep the helicopter, but actually a climate-controlled (20-ton AC system) 48 ft. x 35 ft. x 19 ft. (14.6 m x 10.7 m x 5.8 m) safe-haven for all of the “toys” that have become essential for yachting. Climate control means sophisticated equipment can always be protected from corrosion and, if need be, there’s ample space for large parties or concerts. GLOBAL's hangar is fire and explosion certified and has a ventilation system that changes the air 6 times per minute

Her fully-equipped galley will please even the most particular chef with commercial appliances, stainless steel counter tops, spacious cabinets, and a large walk-in cooler / freezer. Food and beverages can be sent quickly via a dumbwaiter to the Sky Lounge or Service Bar.

GLOBAL’s game room provides a secure place for the young and young at heart to pass the time with an eight-seat poker table or it can be converted into another ship’s office providing ample storage for documents with her built in wall cabinets.

The theater / library is luxurious and comfortable with spacious seating, including reclining couches and a 65’ inch (165.1 cm) flat panel display. The gym is laid with black composite fitness flooring and is complete with a variety of equipment, a full head and steam room.

Crew Deck

GLOBAL’s crew deck provides pleasant accommodation for up to twelve crew in six comfortable and efficient cabins with extended ceiling height, each with a bunk bed, personal storage closets, an oversized portlight, work desk, and a private head with walk in shower. Just aft, is the tastefully appointed lounge providing her crew with their own space to gather for meetings. The crew is protected by water tight doors with emergency escape hatches.

All of the crew areas are finished in premium cherry laminate with Mahogany solid wood moldings. Vanities, desk tops, nightstands and tables are Corian. Window closures and interior joiner doors are painted chocolate brown. Interior walls are vinyl soft core panels and / or painted. Forward, out of sight but easily accessible, is GLOBAL’S commercial grade laundry equipped with only the most modern equipment to help lighten the cleaning burden of such a large vessel.

Often forgotten by yacht designers, GLOBAL’s engine room and steering machinery compartment has her Engineer in mind. Located astern, it features an enclosed, sound-proofed, bullet proof, climate-controlled Engineering Officer’s Station where both of the main engines and the GLOBAL’s three generators can easily be monitored.
